When i bought the jeep the guy put power windows in and its so frustrating when i take off my doors off or when its time to put them back on rewiring the windows. I'd love to change it back to manual, so i was wondering how much it would cost and how to do it.|||Check the junkyards, maybe find a set of doors you can rip the insides out of and swap them over. May have to just buy the doors and then gut them at your house or something. Possible that the guy still has the old regulators and such?
You will need to change over the window regulator, and the door panel so that you have a spot for the crank too.|||You would need to run to a wrecking yard and find one that has manual windows.
All that you would need to do is to remove the motor and mechanism, and place the manual regulator in its place. you would need to be sure to get the crank handles and trim, then most likely cut a hole in your door panel to accommodate the crank.
