How do I stop my Jeep Compass automatically locking while driving?

I have just bought a 2007 Jeep compass. I don't like that the doors lock automatically while I am driving, is there any way to change this and stop it from happening? I also locked my keys in the car while I was pumping gas because of the automatic locks.|||I don't think there is anyway to stop them from automatically locking. They consider this a safety feature so it is programed to do this. As far as locking the keys in the car, you may have to develop a habit of removing them from the ignition when getting out or be more careful not to touch the power locks while getting in and out.
