I just got tinted windows for my Jeep, and there was a sticker for the manufacturer on the back window. I took it off, but there is still residue on the window. What can I use to remove this without damaging the window? Thanks!|||Goo b gone is good, wd40 will work, denatured alcohol may work, either way, clean with water and dawn after|||first NO SMOKING OR UNSHIELDED LAMPS AND WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA this calls for the mixing of two flammable agents.
1. obtain a spray can of w.d.-40.
2. obtain a can of ronsons cigarette lighter fluid
3. 2 rags 1 is to be a clean cotton t shirt the other is to be the clean remains of a cotton flannel shirt
4. a small bowl to mix fliuds in.
spray w.d.-40 into coffee cup size bowl or container until about 1/3 full [less if area to be cleaned is small]
then pour in some lighter fluid [approx 1/3 volume of w.d.-40 already used] now mix it a little and use the flannel to clean the sticky residue, you may have to rub a little while. now dip the t-shirt in clean water and a little dawn dish soap and go over the area just done then flush with clear water|||you do NOT need to mix any flammable agents, that is highly stupid and dangerous!! disregard that dumb answer!! goo gone will work just fine, and will take no time at all!|||Goo gone.
