How does a Jeep Wrangler with a lift kit handle on the highway?

I'm looking at used jeep wranglers to buy. There are a lot with lift kits, I really like how they look but I don't know how well they handle on the highway. Should I get one with a little lift or just stock? I'm not planning on going off road much...|||I drive a Hummer with a lift kit. It takes a bit of getting used to. You feel a wobble every time you hit a bump, but its good for driving through snow and mud.|||As long as you are going in a straight line there is no problem except for the added aerodynamic drag is going to bite into the already dismal gas mileage. The problem with a lift on any vehicle is the higher center of gravity makes them more unstable in a turn and the Jeeps short wheelbase just adds to the problem. And in an quick accident avoidance maneuver.......there is a reason some Jeeps have a windshield sticker that reads "If you can read this turn me over". I notice my Jeep is pushed around quite a bit by cross winds as well.|||A lift will definitely affect a Jeep at hi way speeds, by moving the center of gravity up, which is not the way you want to move it for speed. As long as you don't try to play boy racer %26amp; try to drift into corners, a lifted Jeep can do speed, it just can't do corners.|||all jeeps are bad on the highway but lift kits don't effect anything on the highway just bad on turns. If you don't plan to go off road much don't get a jeep.
