What year did the 4x2 addition in the Jeep Grand Cherokee start, so that you could switch between 4x4 and 4x2?|||The very first Grand Cherokee was the 1993 model and it had three four wheel drive systems. Command-Trac, a part-time system that allowed 4WD for off road use only, Selec-Trac, which allowed 4WD on or off road (both allowing 2WD also) and Quadra-Trac, a strictly full-time system.
